Known to disinfect and effectively kill bacteria
Dezilite emits light in the ultraviolet spectrum, more specifically UV-C light. This light has a bactericidal effect, it kills bacteria and other microorganisms and destroys the DNA of viruses.
What is UV-C?
Ultraviolet (UV) light is invisible to the human eye and is divided into three categories, UV-A, UV-B and UV-C. The bactericidal light, UV-C, is in the range of 100-280 nm. In several studies, it can be seen that the bactericidal effect of light is maximized around 265 nm..
UV-C radiation is a known disinfectant for air, water and other surfaces. UV-C lighting has been used to reduce the risk of infection for over 40 years. All bacteria and viruses tested so far respond to disinfection of UV-C light. In laboratory tests, our UV-C light inactivated up to 99 percent of the bacteria after the surface had been exposed to the light for 20-30 seconds. A clear indication that UV-C light can play an important role in your personal protection strategy.
We have thought about safety
The lamp automatically turns off the light if it is turned up side down and the light is switched on again when it is flipped back again. Dezilite is tested by an accredited laboratory in Sweden in accordance with ISO / ICE 17025.
